You don't have to be a skinner for this, but the gold is crazy if you are.
Ok in HF there are Reef Cow's along the coast in 1 spot and they are a part of a quest. they have about 8.5k health and there respawn is about 20 seconds and there are 12 of them in a strait line. They are neutral so the do not attack you and they cast a warning holw for 2 seconds at the beginning of the fight without attacking.
Here are my finding after 1 hour of farming
Mobs killed 197
127 Hardened Flipper 15s each 19g
62 Enormous Jaws 17s each 10.50
135 Chilled Meat 1g Each AH 135g
6 Greens 25g total. 25g
Skinning.
119 Borean Leather Scraps 5g a stack AH 30g
70 Borean Leather 1g each Ah 70g
6 Arctic Fur 50g each AH 300g
= 590g an hour
Please test this but I have proven this twice. The first time was about 430 only because my Arctic fur didn't drop but 3
My character is a full 25man naxx DW DK with the 2 last laughs and i just about kill them in 1 IT.
What i would do is kill a line of them and not loot them on the way back loot 2 at 1 time. I never had to wait on respawns. this is by far the best farming i have ever done.
